Monster Mouth

Even by his looks, you should take into account that after all, hes a monster (A jack-O-Lantern kind, to be more precise, His face features can be redrawn pretty much like a pumpkin can have any face you carve on it), and tough he can go with a much more humanly-normal mouth, He prefers going with something at least a little bit more up to monster standards, in case you ask, Yes, he has teeth inside his mouth, his head is weird. 

I’ll take advantage to answer this, that thing on his neck is not a choker, its the place where his head splits from his body.
